The Samsung Galaxy tablet looks to be the first bonafide Android tablet to make its way out to the market.

The Korean giant has release a teaser video of the device. As trailer videos go, it is high on the enticement factor.

Engadget posted the trailer video and have posted a frame by frame and on analysis there are a few features that can be inferred from the device.

  • It’s a 7inch touchscreen device which runs on Android 2.2(Froyo)
  • It uses the Samsung Touch Wiz user interface
  • Gmail user interface appears optimized for the tablet interface
  • The virtual keyboard is very similar to the iPhone keyboard and Swype text input appears built into the system
  • A customized calendar application
  • It allows video calling(built in 3G chip) and has a built in 3.2MP camera

Its debut will no doubt be at the Berlin trade show next week. Many other tablets are sure to follow. Click on the link for the video.
