Motorola introduced a rather unique Android smartphone at CES 2011, the Motorola Atrix.

The specifications are massive with a 1GHz dual core CPU, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory on board. This is coupled with a 4 inch screen with a nice 960x 540 resolution, microSD expansion slot, microUSB and miniHDMI port. The 8MP camera is no slouch either with a dual LED flash. The battery is a massive 1930mAh battery which is a suitably up to the task of dealing with the massive specifications.

The more interesting feature about this device is the peripherals available for it. There is multimedia docking port and a laptop port. The latter allows the laptop based internet browsing.

This device looks to be formidable smartphone offering from Motorola this year. Of course, the next best Android handset is always around the corner.

2011 looks to a very exciting year.
